Will the straps cover a standard bra?

In most cases, yes. The straps are visibly broader than a typical camisole strap, so they are better suited to covering standard bra straps and creating a tidier layered look.

Is the white shade see-through?

The white option appears smooth rather than sheer in the product images, but as with most light-coloured fitted basics, a nude bra will give the cleanest finish underneath.

Is it better for layering or wearing on its own?

Both work, but this style is especially strong as a base layer. Unlike fine camis with narrow straps, the square neckline and smooth back make it sit neatly under open shirts, knitwear and blazers.
