Yes. Unlike a flat bandeau with no shaping, the gathered construction pulls the fabric closer across the bust and waist, so it feels more secure once on. If you want extra hold for dancing or for a fuller bust, fashion tape is a sensible add-on.
How cropped is it?
It measures 27cm in S, 28cm in M and 29cm in L. On most customers it sits neatly with high-rise bottoms and shows more skin with lower-rise styling.
Are the lighter colours see-through?
The white and light apricot shades look smooth and clean on the body, but nude seamless underwear gives the best finish under lighter tones. Black and purple naturally offer the most coverage.
