Will the sides show above my waistband?

Yes. The high-cut side line is part of the look and is designed to sit above lower-rise trousers or show a shaped waist with mid-rise cargos. If you want less skin on show, pair it with a higher-rise trouser.

Is there a fastening underneath?

Yes. The supplier detail image shows a popper-snap gusset, so it is more practical to wear than a pull-on all-in-one.

Are the lighter shades see-through?

The light grey and white options are made in smooth fitted jersey rather than a heavy rib, so nude seamless underwear gives the cleanest finish, especially in bright daylight.
