The fabric is light and the colour is a pale blush, so it is not fully opaque in strong window light. A nude bra or nude-toned underwear gives the smoothest finish.

Does it sit cropped or longer on the body?

It is not a high-crop cami. The hem is longer and more smoothing through the waist, finishing around the upper hip in the product photos.

Can I wear a bra with it?

Yes. The scoop neckline is low and feminine, but the straps are placed to work with most standard bra straps. Because the shoulder straps are fixed rather than adjustable, the best fit comes from choosing the right size through the bust.
